About Us
The South West Games is a groundbreaking sporting festival designed to showcase and nurture the incredible athletic talents within the six states of South West Nigeria—Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, and Ekiti. Endorsed by the National Sports Commission (NSC), the Games provide a high-impact platform for young athletes to compete, excel, and represent their states with pride.
A key highlight of the event is the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Southwest Alliance Games (BAT-SWAG), a dedicated sub-tournament that pays tribute to the legacy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a steadfast advocate for youth development and sports excellence. BAT-SWAG focuses on key sporting disciplines, including football, basketball, tennis, swimming, volleyball, and athletics, fostering grassroots talent and creating pathways for future champions.
